Responsibility, growth and sustainable solutions
OEM conducts its sustainability work based on its business model, with a focus on long-term growth and profitability by strengthening the offering of products and solutions with improved sustainability aspects.
During 2025, the work focused on structuring and further developing the Group’s sustainability reporting in line with CSRD, which has clarified processes, responsibilities, and follow-up.
Employees’ competence and commitment are crucial for integrating sustainability into daily operations. The work is coordinated through a Group-wide Sustainability Council and is integrated into strategies and business planning – from Product to People and Planet.
At the end of 2020, the management team decided to launch development programs within sustainability to more clearly define and set targets for the Group’s sustainability work. A sustainability working group was established with representatives from the largest companies and markets to ensure broad participation.
The first step in the process was to carry out a stakeholder and materiality analysis at Group level to enable the development of new overarching sustainability goals. These goals are linked to Agenda 2030 and several of its 17 goals.

An important part of our sustainability work is the dialogue with the Group’s stakeholders — and who are our stakeholders? They include customers, suppliers, employees, and owners. To understand what was important to these groups, a survey was distributed in the form of a questionnaire covering various sustainability topics, based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030. The responses from the stakeholder dialogue were compiled to create a clear picture of which global goals each stakeholder group believes OEM should prioritize. Below, we present the goals that received the most votes from each stakeholder group.

The results of the stakeholder analysis, combined with what is considered material and possible to influence for the OEM Group, form the basis for the sustainability group’s proposal on which sustainability issues are most material to OEM.
Through the materiality analysis, we have identified four priority areas that cover all three aspects of sustainability:
Sustainability at OEM is closely linked to our business model. As a value-creating link between manufacturers and customers, we hold a unique position to influence how products are selected, combined, and used — thereby contributing to long-term business value, resource efficiency, and responsibility throughout the entire value chain.
To make our sustainability work clear, structured, and closely connected to the business, we have chosen to focus on three key areas: Product, People, and Planet. Together, they reflect how sustainability permeates our entire organization — from portfolio development and logistics to employee engagement, leadership, and climate responsibility.
Our sustainability work is guided by clear strategies, stakeholder dialogue, and shared group-wide objectives, and is continuously developed in line with applicable regulations, including CSRD.
